What Are Stamped Metal Parts?

Metal stamping parts refer to the process of punching plates, strips and other materials into parts through metal molds. The shape of stamping parts can be flat surfaces, arc surfaces, or various curved surfaces (such as spherical surfaces) and spatial curved surfaces (such as impeller blades, etc.). The materials of stamping parts generally use low carbon steel, high-quality carbon structural steel and stainless steel.

Plastic deformation can be used in almost all non-ferrous metals except copper. Since stamping relies on dies and stamping equipment to complete processing, it is called cold stamping or sheet metal stamping; it also includes the forging process using some hot forging equipment.

Common metals include: metal materials such as iron, copper, aluminum and their alloys, and non-metal materials (plastics), such as zinc alloys, magnesium alloys, etc. Stamping parts are used in a wide range of applications, including construction hardware accessories, auto parts, electronic and electrical accessories, and other industries. In the production process, many different machines and equipment are needed to process raw materials!
