Progressive Die Stamping
Progressive die stamping is a metal forming process in which metal strip is converted into components in a multi-stage operation. Several stations are set up along the line, each performing a different manufacturing task as the parts are transported past. Individual pieces are attached to strips of rock and are finally cut away in the final stage.

Composite mold
Compound die stamping performs a series of individual or compound actions in one stroke rather than in a multi-pass process. Cutting, bending and punching are done almost simultaneously, making it an effective forming method for flat parts. With just one pass, composite tooling provides a cost-effective way to quickly produce simple parts with high repeatability.

transfer mold
In transfer die stamping, each part passes through the die process as an individual unit. Unlike progressive die stamping, where separation occurs in the final step, the part is separated from the metal strip in the first operation so that more complex design elements can be created. Finger-like appendages guide the part through the forming station, where individual actions take place.

punching
Our tooling facility uses punch presses to create parts by placing metal stamped stock between die dies and hydraulic cylinders. When the punch engages, it punches a hole in the workpiece and forms the metal into the shape of the fixed die. In general, punch presses can produce uniformly shaped parts for high-volume orders and are more efficient than manual punching.

Available in both conventional punch and side punch. Our state-of-the-art die facility also employs automated robotic transfers and stage die design and implementation to expedite the stamping process. With our state-of-the-art facilities, we can deliver high volumes of high-quality precision components as quickly and economically as possible.

Our metal stamping capabilities include:

  1. punching
  2. Blanking
  3. Embossed
  4. casting
  5. bending
  6. turn over

Advantages of Metal Stamping
Metal stamping is a cold forming process that transforms flat metal into various shapes. This manufacturing process has many advantages, including:

  1. accurate
  2. efficiency
  3. consistency
  4. affordability

With our innovative technology, we stamp to the highest degree of precision and sophistication. Hangzhou Emax Industrial Co., Ltd. uses a precision metal stamping process to manufacture components with a tolerance of +/- 0.005 mm, and we can further refine the process if your task requires tighter specifications.

Efficiency in the production process saves costs. Whether we are producing prototypes or high-volume production, our metal stamping services can be performed quickly, making them significantly cost-effective over other tooling methods.

Consistency is also critical when manufacturing parts. Our ability to stamp multiple parts simultaneously allows us to speed up the process and create consistency. To ensure our stamped components are as consistent as possible, we perform automated inspections on every run, including dimensional checks. Our factory is ISO 9001:2015 registered and offers unparalleled metal stamping and tooling services.

Tooling Design

Every high-quality precision metal stamping process begins with a high-quality die design. Hangzhou Emax Industrial uses the latest versions of 3D CAD software, including AutoCAD, SpaceClaim and MIDAS NFX, to ensure that all products are designed to our customers' specifications.

Our tools are manufactured to precise standards - ensuring accurate and repeatable results every production run. By using modern and advanced techniques, our team achieves and maintains tolerances within 0.05mm, with tighter tolerances available upon request. Our qualified hands-on engineering team oversees the rapid development of fully functional prototypes to accurately evaluate and validate new designs to ensure the functionality and accuracy of the final stamped product.

We invest time and effort in planning our processes at every stage of our operations to eliminate manufacturing errors and maintain compliance with the strictest industry standards and regulations. No product leaves our factory without going through our stringent, exhaustive ISO 9001:2015 and APQP certified quality control and quality assurance procedures.

All components undergo detailed dimensional inspection using our state-of-the-art coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), optical inspection systems, ROMER arms, or other inspection equipment operated by our knowledgeable and experienced staff. Further manual and visual inspections were performed to confirm the results of all digital instruments. Material quality is also guaranteed and verified through a rigorous Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) approval process.

We pride ourselves on producing quality parts at affordable prices. We go beyond simple metal stamping to provide a range of services including engineering, design, welding, tapping, drilling, laser cutting and etching, and welding to carry our customers' designs through the manufacturing process from sketch to final design.
